Congratulations to Sumter, Manning and Santee offices --- you are #1 in the Sumter MLS system with 17.63% of the market --- WOW!!!!
What a wonderful tool to get more listings --- we are proud of you!!!!!!
We have featured our loan officers which I want to do daily. Also, I am going to feature our other services --- so, keep reading and watching. Did you realize that Allstate Wally Burbage and Assoc. is 50% owned by you?
I realize that on the coast, it is difficult for him to write homeowners insurance. But for you guys in Sumter, Manning and Santee, he can write all day long for you and I have been told that Allstate is very competitive in that area.
Also, did you know that Wally's group is writing renters insurance? They are and being very successful with that.
I know you want to help your own company by letting your buyers know that Wally's office will be calling them. This way, it is not such a "cold call".
Lindsey and Lisa in Wally's office are fantastic and they are the ones handling our AgentOwned Business.
Wally Burbage ---- 843-881-1921 --- Watch tomorrow for the ladies who actually write the insurance and with whom you will be dealing.
Focus Group today: Topic was informal gathering to discuss real life issues with real estate. We had 10 folks there --- discussions were good --- discussed the "mold" issues that one of our sellers is trying to disguise and cover up and the liability involved with AgentOwned and the agent in a situation such as this. Discussed CL100 letter companies being much more particular when writing their letters ----just trying to cover themselves --- . Discussed an agent has a buyer who is insisting that his son in Conway close his deal --- the son is not a real estate attorney and doesn't even know how to do a title search . It was a good session. You needed to be there if you are a Johnnie Dodds or IOP agent!!
Agents present for Focus Group were: Ute Appleby, Clara Hahn, Peggy Reese, Brianna Harmon, Stacy Houser (wow!! she had to be introduced --- it has been so long since she has been around - she took a break to have 3 children and the youngest is now in pre-school 3 days a week - so we will be seeing her again --- Yeah!!), Stan Huff, Tyler Bergin, Nancy Wilson, Susie Schumm, and our Becky Hayward (Residential Mtg) was there and entered the discussions!!
Sumter Assoc. of Realtors had a luncheon meeting today and Kirk McLeod, Kathy Farley, Sylvia McCabe, Mark Ford, Mary Grant, Natalie Roberts and Holly Racer attended from the Sumter office. From the Manning office: Celie Gleason, Angie Jordan, Alfred Kelley, Charley Schmidt, Deborah Ridgeway & Carol Jo Horne (our Residential Mortgage superstar!)
I know they were proud!!!! # 1

Don't forget to wear your red, white and blue on Friday. Saying you don't have anything red, white & blue is not a good excuse. Be creative - Boyd wears a white shirt, red tie and a Blue top pen in his shirt pocket. Jenny had on one day, red shoes, white shirt and blue Tee under the white shirt. Billie Jo has a necklace that has the 3 colors in it. I look forward to a lot of you reporting on Friday that you have your red, white & blue.
Until later ----
Liz Loadholt
